Every KODOAN flute begins as a living piece of carefully selected bamboo.

Each instrument is hand crafted in my small workshop, one at a time, using traditional methods and individually tuned before it leaves my hands.

This Student Shakuhachi is designed for beginners who want an authentic Japanese bamboo flute without the cost of a fully rooted professional instrument.

Although affordable, it is built with the same patience and care that goes into every flute I make.
